Nikon FTN Nikomat 50mm f1.4 - Beautiful Condition! New battery installed.

This item was purchased by my father in the 1960s. I remember taking photos with it at the Osaka Expo and even winning an award for a photo of the harbor. I've occasionally taken it out and handled it, but I'm selling it now as part of a decluttering effort. Touching it again after all this time, I was moved by the excellence of Japanese craftsmanship. It seems like it could still be used. I replaced the battery, and the light meter works. Other basic functions seem to be fine. However, I haven't actually loaded film and taken pictures, so I'm listing it as junk. I'm not an expert on cameras, so I don't know the details. The exterior is in good condition considering its age. The button on the case is missing, but the leather is still beautiful. The lens seems to be fine, but I can't tell if there's any dust or mold. Looking through the filter brings back memories of that time. Please refer to all the photos. This is an old item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
